St Kilda FC NGA seeking applicants for coaching roles

The St Kilda Football Club and SMJFL are currently seeking applications for a Development Coach/SMJFL Interleague Assistant Coach.

The Saints NGA North Hub Development Coach will be responsible for executing the NGA coaching curriculum and player development objectives of the program.

The role will incorporate the on-field and off-field education, mentoring and leadership of young, talented, and aspiring footballers with the ability to foster positive relationships with a range of personalities.

St Kilda FC Community Pathways & Partnerships Manager Jack Henty said the role will provide a great opportunity for someone interested in junior sporting development and coaching.

“The Next Generation Academy & SMJFL Development Interleague Program is the entry point to the AFL Talent Pathway and is primarily based upon developing players’ fundamental skill development, physical preparation and off-field life skills,” he said.

“As part of our responsibility, we are looking to identify and develop the best young coaches in the region in order for us to create the best environment possible for the kids. If you’re passionate about junior development, taking your coaching further and being connected to an elite AFL Club we encourage you to please apply for our Development Coaching positions”.
