Beaumaris managed to hold on despite a late Mordi-Brae surge, securing an 11-point win in their clash at Jack Barker Oval.
Beaumaris opened steadily, taking a five-point lead into quarter time after kicking 2.2 to Mordi-Brae's 1.3. The second term saw the Sharks take full control, piling on 5.2 while restricting Mordi-Brae to just 1.1, stretching to margin to 30 points at the main break.
Their momentum continued into the third quarter, where Beaumaris added another 4.4 and held Mordi-Brae to 2.1, widening the gap to 45 points heading into the final term.
Just when the game looked comfortably in Beaumaris' hands, Mordi-Brae produced a remarkable late push. They kicked 6.4 in a dominant final quarter, cutting deeply into the margin. The Sharks found two goals of their own, ultimately holding on for an 80-69 victory.

AJAX and Murrumbeena couldn't be separated at Glen Huntly Park, finishing locked at 46 apiece after a four-quarter contest.
Murrumbeena opened strongest, kicking 2.2 to AJAX's 1.0 to take an eight-point lead into the first break. The second quarter saw the game flip entirely, with AJAX surging ahead with 5.2 while Murrumbeena scored a single goal, turning the deficit into an 18-point lead at half time.
The third quarter saw the match tighten, with the scores level at 6.3 heading into the final quarter. The pattern continued in the final quarter, with each team finding an additional 1.1 but unable to break the deadlock.
The siren sounded with both teams on 7.4, sealing a draw and reflecting how evenly-matched these teams are.

It was a contest that came down to the wire at Como Park between Mordi-Brae and Prahran, with only three points separating the teams after four tightly fought quarters.
The opening term was neck-and-neck, with Mordi-Brae edging ahead with 1.2 to Prahran's 1.0. The margin remained razor-thin in the second quarter, with both sides adding a goal and a behind, allowing Mordi-Brae to carry their two-point advantage into half time.
The third term saw Mordi-Brae gain a slight advantage over Prahran, adding 1.2 to their total and holding Prahran to a single goal, nudging the margin out to four points heading into the last quarter.
Prahran lifted late, kicking 1.1 and threatening to overturn the deficit, but Mordi-Brae found 1.0 of their own to end the game three points ahead, sealing a hard-earned victory.
