This month, we're acknowledging Kate Mallett of Highett Junior Football Club as our Administrator of the Month for July.
Over 7 years, Kate has demonstrated outstanding dedication, leadership and service to Highett Junior Football Club. Kate has served as a Team Manager, and for the past four years has also led the Social Huddle, a group of volunteers who organise one major fundraising function and five club award nights each season. These occasions are highlights of the HJFC calendar, spearheaded by Kate's ability to bring volunteers together, create welcoming events, and build a strong club culture.
For the past two years, Kate has also transformed the club's social media presence, growing the club's online community to almost 1,000 followers across both Instagram and Facebook. Her engaging content and regular updates celebrate the club, strengthening the club's identity and increasing community engagement with the club.
Kate is passionate, organised and incredibly generous with her time. She works tirelessly behind the scenes, often without recognition, to ensure families feel connected, volunteers feel appreciated and players feel celebrated.
The SMJFL extends its congratulations to Kate for this award, and thanks her for her outstanding service to Highett Junior Football Club.
