The South Metro Junior Football League is proud to recognise Kieran Kennedy as April's recipient of the Westinghouse Administrator of the Month Award.
Kieran has been a dedicated volunteer at East Malvern Knights JFC for nine years, contributing consistently and enthusiastically across his time at the club. His commitment to creating a fun and welcoming environment for junior footballers has made him a key part of the Knights community.
In his current roles as Age Group Coordinator for both the U16s and U8 Mixed program, Kieran has gone above and beyond this season. With record numbers participating in the U8 program, fielding five Mixed teams and two Girls teams, Kieran has been instrumental in driving that growth through Come and Try Days and pre-season catchups that have helped attract kids to the game.
In a standout initiative, Kieran organised for four current AFL and AFLW players to attend a jumper presentation for the entire U8 age group. In keeping with the Knights' tradition of naming teams after alumni who have gone on to play at the elite level, Kieran arranged for the actual team namesakes to be there in person, a memorable experience for every child involved.
Kieran's ability to make football fun has been central to the impressive participation numbers at East Malvern Knights JFC this season, and his dedication continues to make a lasting impact on the club.
The SMJFL congratulates Kieran on this well-deserved recognition and thanks him for his outstanding service to junior football.
