The South Metro Junior Football League (SMJFL) is pleased to announce the appointment of Gabrielle Morri as the new Marketing & Communications Coordinator.

Gemma McNabb, General Manager of Commercial and Marketing for the SMJFL says: “We are really pleased to welcome Gabrielle to the Commercial Team. Anyone who has spent five minutes with her can see her genuine passion for sport and marketing, and that enthusiasm is backed by a strong, proven skillset. As we build out our commercial and marketing strategies this year, her appointment comes at an exciting time. We look forward to seeing what she brings to the role and to introducing her to you all.”

Gabrielle brings with her a wealth of experience in sport marketing. She built her career in the community sport, fitness and recreation industry at UWA Sport in Perth where she delivered integrated marketing campaigns that drove growth across a broad and complex portfolio of programs. She is looking forward to bringing her broad skillset across the full marketing function to the SMJFL.

Gabrielle has built a reputation for being both a strategic thinker and a capable hands-on practitioner. Her appetite for ambitious, results-driven work and her understanding of the sporting landscape makes her an exciting appointment for the league.

Gabrielle says, "It's an exciting time to be joining the SMJFL, and I'm looking forward to contributing to the growth of the league, building on the marketing platform built by my predecessors, and finding new ways to grow the league's reach and profile."

Jamie Howden, CEO of the SMJFL, says: "Gabrielle is a fantastic addition to the SMJFL team. We have worked hard to build a team that is passionate about what we do and the communities we serve, and Gabrielle fits that culture perfectly. We are excited to have her on board and look forward to watching her grow with us."
