Major Partner of the South Metro Junior Football League’s (SMJFL) Healthy Club Canteens program Marketplace Fresh is looking for staff across their 10 Melbourne stores, including their newly-opened Oakleigh store.
SMJFL media caught up with Marketplace Fresh Fountain Gate staff Lyna and Thomas to chat about their current roles and experiences.

Lyna: Cashier.
SMJFL: How did you get involved with Marketplace Fresh?
Lyna: I knew some people who were already working here.
SMJFL: What is your favourite part of your job?
Lyna: Serving customers and seeing new people
SMJFL: What’s your favourite piece of produce at Marketplace Fresh?
Lyna: I love the Dragonfruit.
SMJFL: What would you say to anyone who’s thinking of applying to work at Marketplace Fresh?
Lyna: I’d recommend it, it’s lovely here. I love every part of it.

Thomas: I love the fresh green grapes.

Thomas: It’s actually really fun and the people who work here are really nice.
The Marketplace Fresh Round will take place on Round 4, Sunday 9 May, with the Marketplace Fresh team holding a Mother’s Day flower stall at W.A Scammell Reserve.
