SMJFL NEW UMPIRE ADMINISTRATION OFFICER

The South Metro Junior Football League (SMJFL) is pleased to announce the appointment of Zack Tremigliozzi as the new Umpire Administration Officer.

Zack joined the SMJFL in 2026 as the Umpire Administration Officer, bringing with him a strong background in boundary umpiring since 2018. After progressing into boundary coaching and serving as the Appointments Officer across 2024–2025, Zack has developed a genuine passion for supporting and guiding the next wave of boundary umpires. In his role, he coordinates weekly field umpire appointments alongside the Head of Umpiring and the Football Operations Department. He assists umpires and parents with enquiries on registration, pay, uniforms, and match-day matters.

Head of Umpiring, Portia Ronsberg, said "Having Zack onboard is a major step forward for the continued progression for our Umpire Academy, helping drive the academy for our umpires and families. His experience and commitment to development will play a key role in enhancing the environment we provide, ensuring our umpires are supported both on and off the field".

Zack is committed to creating a positive experience for all umpires and contributing to their ongoing development, retention and growth within the league. "I love being involved in football, I've enjoyed many opportunities to umpire across many levels. What energises me is the community of umpires we are building at the SMJFL and being able to contribute to the next wave of umpires" said Zach.
