Monash University Under 18 Girls Division 1


East Malvern 2.4.16 def by Mordialloc-Braeside 6.3.39


A fast-starting Mordi-Brae helped them win the 3rd v 4th match up against the Knights at Basil Reserve. Mordi kicked the first 4 matches of the game which proved to be too greater margin to come back from as the Knights won the third quarter but were unable to stop Mordi as Jemma Gray kicked 4 goals for the Mustangs.


Prahran 3.4.22 def by St Kilda City JFC 4.6.30

After a tough loss last week against Beaumaris, St Kilda City bounced back to win a tight tussle against top of the table Prahran to hand them their first loss of the season. Prahran restricted St Kilda City to one goal after quarter time as Prahran clawed their way back but fell just short as Kera Galaminda Gellar starred with 3 goals for City.


East Brighton Vampires 0.7.7 def by Beaumaris 5.15.45

Beaumaris proved too strong away from home against the Vampires as they won the contest by 5 goals. As a result, the Sharks have jumped two games clear of third, fourth and fifth on the ladder to be one game behind Prahran. The Vampires showed great improvement since the last time these two teams met in Round 6, narrowing the previous deficit substantially.


Monash University Under 17.5 Boys Division 1


St Kilda City 9.3.57 drew with Beaumaris 7.15.57

In an incredible comeback St Kilda City overcame a near 5 goal deficit at three-quarter time to result in a tie against 2nd placed Beaumaris. It was the first draw of the season in this competition as all teams are fighting for a top 4 finish. Goals were shared amongst the players in one of the matches of the year.


Mordialloc-Braeside 5.12.42 def by St Bedes / Mentone Tigers AFC 7.4.46

Another tight affair at Gerry Green saw St Bedes / Mentone Tigers AFC overcome a strong first half from Mordi-Brae to win by a narrow 4-point margin. Mordi fought hard but St Bedes were too strong, while 3 goals were kicked by Jai Pugsley and Xavier Supple for their respective sides.


Ormond 9.4.58 def South Melbourne Districts 5.5.35

Ormond continued their great form to win another tight contest against a valiant South Melbourne Districts. Ormond jumped to a four-goal lead at the main break and the Bloods didn’t led Ormond run away with it, keeping the final margin to 23 points. Michael Gashi was great in front of the big sticks, kicking 3 of his own.
