Prahran are going from strength to strength this season and recorded a win against Mordialloc-Braeside to sit comfortably on top of the table. The match was highlighted by a 4-goal haul from Prahan’s Izabela Ignjic.

East Brighton Vampires 6.11.47 def St Kilda City JFC 3.2.20

East Brighton Vampires started the game off strongly with a 23-point lead over St Kilda City at the first break. Despite kicking accurately, the Saints struggled to make an impact on the scoreboard. The Vampires were able to overrun the Saints to record a 27-point win.


Monash University Under 17.5 Boys Division 1


Beaumaris 8.11.59 def Mordialloc-Braeside 6.7.43

Beaumaris bounced back from a narrow loss last week after defeating Mordialloc-Braeside at Banksia Reserve. After leading at the first break, Beaumaris let their lead slip and Mordialloc-Braeside had a 3-point lead heading into the final quarter. Beaumaris were too strong in the end, going on to kick three 4th quarter goals to Mordialloc-Braeside’s 2-points.


St Bedes / Mentone Tigers AFC 1.4.10 def by Ormond 10.8.68

Ormond proved to be too strong for St Bedes / Mentone Tigers AFC, recording a convincing 58-point win at Mentone Reserve. Ormond started the game off firing, to lead by 20-points at half time and added 4-goals in the 3rd quarter on their run home. Ormond’s defence worked hard to keep the Tigers to only 10-points.


St Kilda City JFC 6.8.44 def South Melbourne Districts 4.8.32

St Kilda City returned to the winners list this week by defeating South Melbourne Districts. South Melbourne was able to cut the Saints 13-point lead in the 1st quarter to 2-points at half time by keeping them scoreless. The tables turned in the 3rd and the Saints were able to keep South Melbourne scoreless and add 3.4 to their tally. Despite not recording a score again in the final quarter, the Saints were able to hold on for the win.
