The Knights bounced back from last week’s defeat to secure a strong win against the Vampires at Hurlingham Park.

Beaumaris FC 5.5.35 def Prahran JFC 3.1.19

The top of the table clash proved to be a good one, with Beaui keeping Prahran goalless in the last quarter to claim top spot on the ladder in division 1. St Kilda City JFC 1.1.7 def by Mordialloc-Braeside JFC 1.8.14

Twilight footy was back with a 4:45pm match to finish Round 12 and it was another tight affair! Mordi-Brae come out on top by a narrow margin of 7 points to place them in the top 4 with 3 rounds to play. Georgie Grubb kicked the winning goal for the Mustangs early on in the game and both teams fought hard in defence to stay strong and keep the scoring low.

South Melbourne Districts 4.8.32 def by Beaumaris FC 5.10.40

A great first half from South wasn’t quite enough to beat the top 2 Beaumaris at Lindsay Hasset with the Sharks running out 8-point winners to remain 2nd on the ladder. Goals were shared across the ground from both sides as SMD sit just outside the top 4, as Beaui prepare for the 1 v 2 blockbuster next week against Ormond.

Ormond JFC 8.10.58 def Mordialloc-Braeside JFC 4.6.30

The Monders remain undefeated in division 1 as they were 4 goal victors against a gallant Mordi-Brae. It was the first time the two sides have played each other in a full match in 2023 in a highly skilled display of football at E.E Gunn.

St Kilda City JFC 7.11.53 def St Bedes / Mentone Tigers AFC 4.6.30

7 individual goal kickers for St Kilda City set up a solid win against St Bedes as City claimed third spot on the division 1 ladder at Wattie Watson Oval. St Bedes had the wood over City the last time they played each other in Round 7, but City piled on 3 last quarter goals to claim a crucial win.
